2012 Spring Registration:
Register Now SLYB Board of Directors voted to implement the following due to changes outside our control: Anyone wanting to work in the concession stand must now obtain a Food Handler Permit. Food Handler Testing consists of viewing a 15 minute food safety video and completion of a short test. Testing is offered Monday through Friday, 8:30AM to 4:00PM at the Environmental Health Office located at 804 Newtown Circle. Permit cost is $10 and is good for 3 years. Call (859) 231-9791 X245 for more information. - Due to the Food Handler Permit requirement, a concession buyout of ($25) is now payable at the time of registration. This buyout will replace the concession work requirement for each family and buyout process which was between $40-$50 per player. Those who want to work can still do so but must have a valid Food Handler Permit and pay the concession buyout during registration. More details on how to sign-up to work concessions will be provided later.
- A reduction in LFUCG's Parks and Recreation Budget for field preparation supplies (quick-dry, marking dust, etc) resulted in the need to raise registration fees across all leagues by $5.
