Evaluations are today! If for some reason you cannot make your designated time slot, please come during one of the other time slots or contact us about a make-up slot on Sunday. Contact our Player Agent, Randall Slone at 224-3239, or Jude Ritchie at 619-5833 if you have any questions regarding the tryout schedule or if you are unable to attend.Evaluation Update: Major/Minor evaluations will occur in the Green Building at Lafayette High School between 8AM and 12PM on Saturday, February 27th. Note: All players who are participating should wear tennis shoes and not baseball cleats. Space in the Green Building is very limited and ideally should be kept to one parent per player. The building does not have a restroom, a water fountain or any soft drink vending machines. If a player requires a drink then they must bring it with them. 9 year olds(last name beginning with A-H) 8:00 AM 9 year olds(last name beginning with I-Q) 8:45 AM9 year olds(last name beginning with R-Z) 9:30 AM10 year olds 10:00 AM11 & 12 year olds 11:00 AMMake-up's will be held on Sunday, February 28th from 1-3PM at Lafayette High School in the Green Building.All 9, 10, 11, & 12 year olds not currently assigned to a team must attend an evaluation for the Major & Minor Leagues. Those players not drafted by a Major League team will be drafted by a Minor League team. If an opening becomes available on a Major League team, a player from the Minor League cannot be selected to fill that vacancy unless he/she participated in tryouts prior to the season. If any player is selected by a Major League team and refuses to play, the player is ineligible to play in the Major League for the current season plus one season. Registration and Evaluation details are below: Registration by Mail Only: Major/Minor registration must be RECEIVED BY February 25th. Rookie and T-Ball registration must be RECEIVED BY March 5th. Fees: Major - $175 Minor - $135 Rookie - $100 T-Ball - $80
Discount of $10 off each additional registration fee if more than 1 child is playing in the league. -
If you have a child moving from Rookie to Major/Minor then you must pay the Minor Fee to participate in the evaluation and if your child is drafted by a Major team then you will be responsible for the $40 difference. ____________________________________________________________________ Minor LeagueAll 9, 10, 11, and 12 year olds not selected for the Major League will be drafted by a Minor League team. THERE ARE NO GUARANTEES FOR PLACEMENT ON A CERTAIN TEAM. The skills assessment allows the teams to be more evenly matched. THERE ARE NO GUARANTEES FOR PLACEMENT ON A CERTAIN TEAM. The assessment will take place on March 7, 2009 at Champions Sports in Nicholasville. It is located at 2061 Lexington Road near the Toyota dealership.
